Why are blue spots appearing on my lcd projection tv?
There are about 6 or 7 blue spots about the size of a quarter that have appeared on my screen recently. They are always in the same spot. They are not on the screen surface, as cleaners have done nothing. You can only see them really well when the screen is a light color where they are. Help!
I’ve got it narrowed to two possible causes. One is dead pixels, which a couple of you have said. The other is that dust has settled on the lens of the red part which is causing the blue to show up on the screen. I’m still not sure and Sony’s customer service is awful. By the way, the model number is KDF-E55A20.
Yes, man probably some of the spots are dead; This is my first opinion;
How to resolve- if they are really dead- No way
